The exercise ball is a non-complicated way to enhance your basic abs-trimming exercises. Most of the home-based ab workouts target only a part of your abs. With the exercise ball, you can work a larger mass of muscles at the same time. This simple “equipment” can be used in a variety of ways. Sitting on it for an abdominal curl is one way. You may also lay flat on the ball, with your stomach touching the ball to work your obliques, rectus abdominus, and hip flexors. You may even place the ball under your feet or legs while you lay face up on the floor to perform a variety of exercises or to aid you in doing crunches.

Some people try out different kinds of ab workout to find out what works for them. Others are still juggling a few exercises so as to find the most suitable for them. Either way, it works, as all you have to do is be diligent enough to search for your own workout and make sure that you target all of your muscles so as to get that flat stomach others would be envious of.
