It may not be downtown Los Angeles or New York but Dallas makes up for this by having a more homely charm, which is created by the friendly atmosphere and outgoing nature of Texans. It is rich in the arts and has a host of sports teams that the locals get fiercely behind.

1) It has a great climate

Not being too far away from Mexico, you get the benefit of an epic, almost South American summer with plenty of heat to experience during all seasons. There is barely a touch of snow during an average year and heat waves can put Dallas as one of the hottest places to be on the planet.

2) Uptown Dallas is as revered as the downtown area

It isn’t usually the standard that an uptown area of a city could be seen as so upmarket and gets consumer and businesses moving in droves. It helps that commercial property in Dallas has seen a a stabilisation and especially in the uptown area has seen incentives added on top of already lucrative opportunities to move your business in the city.

3) There is a crossover in culture

With El Paso and Austin being so near each other, you can imagine that Mexican culture comes to Texans and consequently Dallas quite easily.
