Tour De France 2007

Many riders are getting ready for the spectacular cycling event and doing last minute preparations to assure an excellent, safe and secure journey all the way through the finish line.

Another team that has been included to this year’s Tour de France line-up is Barloworld, after Robert Hunters eye-catching win in the Tour de Picardie stage race in France over the weekend.

It’s colossal news not just for Hunter and his squad, but also for South African cycling as this is the first time that a South African sponsored team participates in the Tour.

In Spain we have British rider David Millar who is preparing by participating in the Tour of Catalonia and it is a big favorite for the Tour de France. He feels this race will help him stay fit for the upcoming event.

These are just a few of many who are anxiously awaiting the competition and a few more spots are yet to be announced over the weekend.
