Trezeguet To Play With Juventus

Many contemplated the possibility that David Trezeguet would sign with Arsenal and substitute Thierry Henry, but such assumption has ended with his new contract.

He has scored a number of 145 goals in his seven outstanding seasons with Juventus and decided to continue playing with the team more than a year ago in spite of the team’s relegation after the corruption scandal in Italy but Juventus has now returned to Serie A.

Juventus played outside of Serie A for the first time in history during the 2006-07 season, where their first game in within the Serie B league ended in a 1-1 draw against Rimini.

Previous player Didier Deschamps directed the club to its way back to promotion, which was accomplished mathematically by the month of May 2007 when the club finished the season as the champions. For their come back to Serie A in the 2007-08 season former Chelsea manager, Claudio Ranieri will be at the helm of the Old Lady.

The 2007-08 Serie A season will be their seventy-sixth since its founding, and it is scheduled to begin on August 26th, 2007. The fixtures have not yet been announced but should be broadcasted sometime in july.
