Trifame || The Talent Community For Music Modeling And Dance

TriFame is a website that allows artists in the fields of music, modeling, and dance to submit their videos, mp3s, and photos to compete in music contests, dance contests, and modeling contests. These contest have industry based prizes that aim to further the careers of these artists, and help gain them fans and exposure. All of the content on the website is user submitted, and the community as a whole votes on this content to decide the winners of the contests. In this sense it is a total talent democracy.

The website was started by two recent college graduates from the University of Florida, and Boston College respectively. The website has grown significantly in it's first year of operation and is looking to expand even further. The sponsors that have been involved with the contests so far include Capitol Records, Bad Boy Entertainment, WB Records, Tapout Magazine, MMA Worldwide Magazine, Knockout Magazine, Strobe Magazine, and Image1st Modeling.

The music contests are typically sponsored by a record label and the prize involves a private feedback session with an A&R from the record company for the top 3 winners. These feedback sessions are very informative for the artist and they gain valuable feedback and criticism from the people responsible for hiring new talent. If they are good enough the A&R might sign them to a deal outright.

The modeling contests often have the winners flown somewhere for a modeling shoot to expand their portfolio. Other times the model will submit high resolution photos of them self and the magazine will run a feature using those photos. These are important steps in the career of a model, and can really impact the amount of success that they will have as a model.

The dance contests are all about the hottest dance moves. The videos are usually a couple minutes long and feature dancers showing off their best stuff. The prizes have ranged from video game systems, cameras, and navigation systems to a featured spot on the TriFame homepage.
