Try Pistachio Nuts And Other Gourmet Nuts For Your Next Gift Giving Idea
I have discovered a terrific way to solve most of my gift giving dilemmas. The solution that I use is to give delicious and nutritious pistachio nuts to family and friends. A number of package choices are available. The one that I like the best is the keepsake treasure chest that includes three full pounds of California golden roasted and salted pistachios. Once the nuts are a distant, happy memory, the box can be used to hold jewelry, stationery, and various trinkets. During the holiday season, I like to wrap pistachios in festive holiday bags and keep them on hand. They come in quite handy as great last minute gifts for visitors who come by with presents for you. Besides being a novel and delightful gift, the fact that the pistachios are in holiday wrapped bags makes it seem like you had planned on a gift for that unexpected person. In place of the usual box of chocolate or bottle of wine, for health reasons, I choose pistachios. Diabetics can eat nutritious pistachio nuts without any worries, as can those who may not drink. Approximately 49 nuts are included in a one ounce serving; monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are both present in the nuts and both are heart-healthy. These delicious little nuts have lots of nutrients, from vitamin A to Zinc. They are an excellent treat, as long as you don't eat too many. While special festive and holiday-themed packaging is available, California roasted and salted pistachios also come in various types of more mundane packaging. I make sure that my brother always has a four pound jar of pistachios in the shell so that he can snack on them during football games. He prefers them in the shell because having to shell them keeps him from eating too many, allowing him to remain thin and trim. For my parents I get the two and a half pound jar of pistachio kernels so that they do not have to struggle with the shells. This year I'm going to mix it up by including Gourmet Jalapeno Roasted Pistachios, Gourmet Chili Lemon Roasted Pistachios, and Gourmet Garlic Roasted Pistachios in my purchases, just so people don't feel like I always give them the same thing each year. The only thing is that I must order more than I really need so that the gifts are not all pilfered by my family members before they reach their intended recipients.
