Turn On And Tune In

We are a funny bunch! We’ll spend an hour doing yard work, keep our autos serviced regularly, make sure the house is cleaned on a weekly basis, and a whole list of other things but we will not do anything for our physical selves!
What type of backwards thinking is this? Correct me if I am wrong, but the last time I checked, we only have one body and one life to live!

Drive around and look at our society, in a purely physical sense. Overweight, terribly out of shape, doing everything in our power to live a miserable and uncomfortable existence. We have turned into a society of sloths! Terrible diets, pathetic exercise plans ( if any ), low self-esteem, minimal confidence levels, and a general lack of concern for the easiest thing in the world to maintain...our physical well being!

What would happen if we made the time, actually prioritized our health, to insure a daily 30 minutes of physical activity. Just 30 minutes! Forget the obvious fact that our productivity would skyrocket! Our attitudes would be positive and supportive. Our energy level would allow us to do more, enjoy our life more, lower our incidence of poor health and downtime associated with our current pathetic physical situation.

The first thing that has to take place is our conscious effort to make the time. We have to initiate a substantial life change! In order for a change of this magnitude to actually become a part of our routine, we are going to have to keep a daily reminder in front of us constantly for at least 30 days! Always looking at it, thinking about it, initiating it, talking about it, and making it a life priority! Let’s go people, take charge of your attitude! Take charge of feeling awesome every day! Take charge of your happiness, your health and your desire to be someone!

After we have made the first move, and have actually instituted a life changing attempt to alter and improve our physical being, we can next make an evaluation of our diet and sleep schedule. Who said we have to be obese?
Was it the same someone who also said we have to totally neglect ourselves to a point where we are slowly killing ourselves? Come on, get you head out of the sand! Better yet, get off you rear and take charge of your life!

A mere 30 minutes each day is a very small investment to make for the benefit of a more productive, vibrant, and enjoyable life! Let’s go! Start tomorrow on your future of improved health, wealth and overall living!
Take charge, and remember you only get one shot at this life, make the most of it!!
