Twenty Five Years In The Making: The Oprah Finale

There are thousands of different talk shows on the television today. You can turn your TV on at any given hour and see endless amounts of television shows right there in front of you. It is amazing to see so many great talk shows on the television. However in 2011 the world of television will lose one of its greatest talk shows. This wonderful talk show will have been with us for twenty five years on the date of its final departure and there will be many sad viewers as well as a sad host on the finale of a show that seemed like it would last a lifetime.

The show is the Oprah show which has been on for almost twenty five years. The show has featured some of the great actors and actresses of our time as well as politicians, heartwarming stories and some heartbreaking stories. Oprah is sure to not disappoint in 2011 when her hit talk show goes off of the airwaves. The Oprah finale is sure to be a large event filled with past guests and plenty of past memories. Millions of people at home will tune into the Oprah finale and many people will try very hard to get tickets to the finale.

Along with Oprah’s great stories and wonderful guests another one of her famous works on the show will be missed. The Oprah’s book club has helped millions of people read some of the lesser known books out there. Some of these books have wound up rising to best seller status just because it was featured on the Oprah’s book club. Every month or so the book club would choose a wonderful book and read it. Later on they would review that book often on the show. Viewers would also have a chance to comment on the book via webpage with the Oprah show website. The Oprah’s book club will also be missed when she ends her great running show of twenty five years.
