Twists And Kicks That Kill – A Way To Tone Your Oblique Muscles

Are you one of those dreaming-a-sexy-back kinds of persons or the hopefuls for a sexy body that may have seemed distant before? One of the key determinants of being sexy is the abdominal area of each body. Sometimes when we touch our tummy we get that uneasy feeling when some flab of fat is present. These fats cover our oblique muscles that really define what great abs are. To eliminate them, we need exercise that really works, diet that gives results and the discipline to really do our rituals the two by heart.


A toned body not only gives us confidence but it also gives us the assurance of our healthy disposition in life. This article aims to teach you two exercises that aim to kill those fats in your body and do wonders for your oblique muscles.

The first exercise is called the Killer Twists. This exercise explores your flexibility and tone up your oblique muscles as well as your thighs and butt. Kill THREE birds with one stone with this exercise. Here’s how to do the killer twists:

1. Get your self a weight equipment (e.g. medicine ball, milk dumb bottle)
2. Stand with your legs apart. Make sure your feet are spread wider than your shoulder width.
3. Face your body towards one side (can be your left or right) and hold the weight above your head. This defines your starting position.
4. Lower the weight and turn your body towards the other side.
5. Bend your knees and crouch down towards the floor.
6. Remember to keep a controlled movement.
7. Slowly move back to your original position.
8. Repeat this procedure then change sides.

The second killer workout is the knee kicks. Aside from getting toned abs, develop your self-defense skills also with this routine. With the help of a kicking bag, you’re sure to mold those oblique muscles in shape. Here’s how to do the knee kicks:
1. Hold the kicking bag on one side with both hands.
2. Make sure your hands are spread a little further apart than your shoulder width.
3. Stand with one leg in front of the other.
4. Using your back leg, kneed the bag with as much force as you can.
5. Give the most forceful kneed and waste that bag.
6. Do these steps as long as you feel your abs burning up.
7. Change sides.

With these killer workouts you are sure to have a killer body in no time. Be able to wow your friends and let them notice the difference in you.
