Two Ways To Exchange Your Refurbished Blackberry Or Used Cell Phone
Don’t toss your old blackberry in the garbage even if it’s broke or outdated. There are several services you can use to exchange that used blackberry that include going to a local dealer or using an online company that specializes in cellular exchanges. Do you need help getting started? Consider going the local dealer or online company route to exchange your blackberry.
Most people deal with their local cellular retailer first because it’s the easiest way to get what they want and/or need. What you need to do is take your used blackberry (charger, cords and software too) to your provider and ask them for an upgrade on the device. Most people do not realize that cell phone providers will do this since it isn’t advertised. However, this exchange service is done constantly. The majority of cellular retailers will not send back the exchanged or used cell phone to the manufacturer. Actually, they’ll reformat the phone and put them back on the market as a refurbished blackberry or cell phone. These may be used as loaners or replacements for people whose phones are broke and were turned in for repairs. Retailers follow a predetermined price guide that allows its employees to offer credit placed toward another phone in the store.
If you don’t feel like dealing with your blackberry provider, consider using the Internet to your heart’s content. Many third party sites are available that handle used cell phones. How do they work? Most of them will give you a table of preset dollar amounts available on the website for the make and model of your used cell phone. They’ll even supply the shipping box so you do not need to pay for shipping. Before you ship off that cell phone, there are several things to be considered. First, if you ship off your old cell phone before you’ve purchased another phone, had one mailed to you or you get a phone activated, you’ll be without a phone to use. Second, there’s the possibility of being scammed especially with sites that claim, “they buy any kind of phone” Make sure to read the fine print on these sites including the following words: valid only if phone is completely functional and has a suitable amount of ware for the phone’s age. Keep in mind that these are the people who are supposed to send you money that will be judging your phone. Don’t think they won’t take advantage of you being naïve about the service because many will. They may send you a check but for less than what you were quoted, claiming the used cell phone was in worst shape than you had stated. When you send off your phone, there’s no way to get it back once they have it. In this case, it is seller beware.
