What is position? The basic answer to this question is position is the order in which players are seated around a poker table. These positions can be broken down into sections. These players are also able to bluff than early position players because of their extra knowledge. A bluff is defined as a bet or raise with a hand which is not thought of to be the best hand. It's objective is to induce a player with a better hand to fold. This is a much easier task to accomplish in late position because the early position player has little knowledge of the late position players holdings while also giving away information about his own holdings by acting first.
