Everyone wants to live in the right area of town. However, every person’s definition of the right areas of town varies dependant on their current situations. For many students, they want to live in university apartments that are located near campus and within close proximity to popular bars and clubs. Often students rent university apartments that are outside a cities student housing area and find themselves being watched and are stereotyped as rowdy and noisy trouble makers without being given a chance.

• Proximity to classmates: Also, being in a student friendly area will ensure you are in close proximity to many of your classmates, making it easy to hang out and collaborate on coursework.

The right neighbourhood:

• Save neighbourhood: Without having knowledge of the areas within the city you are attending school in, you might find yourself in the wrong neighbourhood. The Right Fit for Each Individual:

• Everyone is seeking something different: Often graduate or mature students are not interested in living in a highly populated student area. They tend to be more serious and would prefer more quiet surroundings.

Students want to live close to an area where there is potential for a part time job. They do not want a part time job where they have to go out of their way to get there. Therefore, students ideally want to close to retail areas where there are a number of potential part time positions.
