Ups And Downs Of Cod5

Modern Warfare 2 is no WAW as that game pulled the faces of many people when it was announced that the game will be set in WWII times once again. Since the brilliantly successful prequel of the series was an instant hit for gamers around the world because of its genre, this game was a bit disappointing compared to its online predecessor and still even though it had certain elements of the previous game, I must say it didn’t really hit the spot!

Now, the graphics are an imperative aspect to games no matter what it is, and for this title to be a sequel to a game with seriously realistic movements, Treyarch had quite a challenge to undertake, in my opinion. But still, Infinity Ward managed to blast them out of the water with their intense graphics and game play.

However, not everything about this title is all so bad; when achieving assists in CoD4, no matter how much you hurt the enemy you will receive only 2 points. Now that was annoying! But Treyarch fixed this rather annoying problem by judging how much you hurt the enemy – ranging from 2-8 points (Team Deathmatch, Sabotage etc.). Although, all in all, the problem wasn’t much solved because the little bastard who stole your kill still gets the full points!!! But it is still better than what the prequel had to offer with the assists. Let’s see what MW2 has to offer!

My favourite part of this game has got to be Nazi Zombies. An idea that just could not get any more original! I know a few people who only play this game just for Nazi Zombies online and I must say that this is better than playing online! We hope, of course, that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will do a separate release of Nazi Zombies purely for the fact that this is so much more fun than playing matches online!
