Use This Free Marketing Technique To Make Real Money With Your Affiliate Account

You signed up to be an affiliate with a company so that you make the most of an opportunity to earn extra income. It baffles me when I see recommendations from many companies, suggesting to their affiliates to spend money on pay per click advertising, banner advertising and so on. It baffles me because there is a better way to market your affiliate program and it is free to do. The only thing it will cost you is some of your time.

The process that you can use starting immediately is called article marketing. You simply write a short story in news format, roughly three hundred fifty to five hundred fifty words in length and submit them to various article directories. These stories are then picked up by bloggers, twitters and Facebook fiends that spread the word about the knowledge you just wrote about.

To start, write an article that surrounds the product or service you are marketing. For example if you are marketing products on vegetable gardening, say seeds, don’t write about the seeds, write tips, tricks and techniques about how gardeners can get the most of the seed such as watering, when to plant and so on. You do not want to sound like an infomercial; you want your article to be informative and educational to the readers.

Now that you have your article written you need to include with it your resource box. This box, usually located at the end of the article, defines who wrote the article, and how you can get in touch with them. A sample resource box would look like this, “John Doe is a contributing writer for XYZ seeds company. You Can learn more about XYZ seeds by visiting their website at {insert the web address here}.” As you can see the reader of your article now knows who wrote it and where to go for more information.

Finally, do a Google search on the words “article directories” and pick a few out and submit your article to them. If your article has been written in an informational and educational format that readers can learn from and use, they will take your article from theses directories and post it on their own blogs and websites. Not only do they post the article but they also post your resource box and that gives web link that much more free exposure.

Just make sure the link in your resource box points to the product or service you are trying to sell through your affiliate account so you can make the sale. The more articles you write, the more exposure you will receive.
