Using Recycled Writing Pads

Paper is one if the easiest products to recycle. After it is disposed of and collected, it is sorted and taken to a paper mill. Water is added to this paper until it is turned back into pulp. It is screened, cleaned, and the ink is taken away until the pulp can be dried once again and turned back into paper. It may take less than one week to finish the whole recycling process and then it is shipped back to stores for resale.

There are office supply companies that offers recycled notepads that meet all types of writing, filing, or administrative needs. There are two products in particular that are of an environmentally "green" nature: Envirotec perforated pads and Evidence perforated pads.

Envirotec makes 100% recycled notepads that are made from at least half of post-consumer content. One side of every sheet is legal ruled, while the other side remains blank. The paper may be used in ink jet printers which make them perfect for an environmentally friendly office. These writing pads come in either forty or fifty sheets and are letter sized or 5" x 8".

Evidence recycled paper notebooks have fifty slot-perforated sheets and a chipboard back. They come in canary or white colors and also come in three different sizes.

In the past, recycled products were often made inferior to the originals. The positive news is that this is no longer the case. These recycled pads are made of great quality and are also environmentally friendly. More and more people are choosing recycled products for the home and office to make a positive difference in the future of the planet. Recycling conserves energy, reduces landfills, saves energy, and helps to protect the environment.

Anyone that uses writing pads can replace them with recycled notepads. They are a sensible and practical item to use in the home, office, and schools. Remember to continue the good efforts by disposing of the paper in proper recycling containers as well. It can be taken to a recycling bank so the process can begin once again.
