Using A Speed Test To Verify Your Download Speeds

With cable and DSL creating faster Internet browsing, having a decent speed test can keep you informed to your connection strength. Finding an Internet speed test for free and actually useful can be a pain.

Finding a decent speed test without paying for it can be tough. Most "Freeware" contains spyware or malware that can slow your computer down to a crawl.

If you happen to be lucky enough to find one that doesn't contain spyware, you still have to worry about if it actually works right. Finding one that works properly can take alot of time as well.

Over 70% of households have at least one(1) ISP.

60% of Americans use DSL or some other form of High-Speed provider.

86% of these don't get a free speed test with their Internet.

Perhaps its insane, but I feel we should be able to test our Internet speeds when ever we feel the need. Why pay just to find out our ISP is horrible?

Finding a decent speed test can be a quite a chore. Once you find one though you can save it and check your ISP's speed when ever you want. Keeping tabs on your Internet speed may show you when your connection is the fastest as well as the slowest. Allowing you the freedom to choose when to use your service to its fullest potential.
