Using Printed Address Labels

People often skip using a printed address labels because they have those window envelopes and find that those work just as well. The truth is though, that sometimes, you don’t have time to get the folds just right on the page and the letter ends up sinking to the bottom of the envelope! Even worse than that, I remember one time when I used the 3 fold technique, my address was showing as well and the postman decided to post the letter back to me! So using the 3 fold method can be costly!

I always use address labels now. Address labels are much nicer to use because there is no problem with having to get the fold just so on your letter, you don’t have to even write the recipients name and address on the letter (looks very formal) and they are super quick to print. Some people may say that it’s a waste to print just one address label and through the rest of the sheet away, but the truth is that you can feed the same sheet though your printer several times!

All in all, if you can find the right type of printer (I always use a label printer) and you can get the paper set up right, then printed address labels are the way to go. They are a great time saver when it comes to sending letters to people – that’s for sure. Think about this the next time you are trying to fold that letter 3 times to show the address in the window!
