The use of promo items can do just about anything for your company. Customized products can be used to build brand awareness and generate goodwill towards employees and your customer base.
Take a look at how you can use promotional products to build loyalty both inside and outside your organization. Why would someone want to use promotional products to build loyalty? What is the benefit?
Well, let’s start with something obvious. Would a customer use your service to begin with? Why would they go to you as opposed to the competition? Is it about your excellent products that do more than your competitor? Competitors will make similar claims as yours.
The difference, ultimately, is that proverbial warm and fuzzy feeling your customer might have when they think about your company. If your employees provide incredible customer service it helps. It also helps to have an outstanding product. However, with so much competition out there to deal with, a customer needs a gentle cue as to why they need to return to you. This is how promotional products can be used to create that warm and fuzzy feeling and extend your brand.
Let’s look at a few examples as to how you can use promotional products to make loyal customers. It is always a good idea to have items that your customers can use regularly. You can also make a theme around your products. For example, if you’re doing a summer promotion, you can have a cooler bag branded with your company’s logo and give it out to your customers. This could end up saving your customers a trip to the store to get something similar.
If your company treats customers or employees to a sporting event, you can give them a product that ties into the event. For example, if you have an outing to a sports event, why not make the seas a little more comfy with a durable stadium cushion that will last for years?
Within your group, you can use promotional items to build loyalty and motivate your employees. Let’s say that you have created a sales incentive trip next year to Hawaii. Wouldn’t a drink while lounging on the beach be a great way for a sales rep to relish his or her achievements after working so hard? You can get your sales reps to start thinking about the trip and get them motivated by providing nice big beach towels with the company’s logo around the halfway mark in the contest.
Get creative and have fun with your choices. Sure you can use a pen and the more traditional products, but it will be a pleasant surprise to customers and workers when they see a company making waves!
