Vacation With Kids In New York
New York without a doubt has a great deal to offer both small and older kids. Lets start with the Painted Pot. A pottery shop where the kids are allowed to select and paint their own pottery , of course you can do it yourself as well. The shop also arranges pottery wheel classes, and same thing applies here, both adults and children are welcome. Now, that would be the perfect souvenir from your New York vacation! If this sounds like fun make sure you do this in the very first days of your vacation, cause your work needs burning and it might take a few days before that is done. Moving on, be warned though, it's rather costly - a visit to Triple Z Music Recording is enjoyable. It's a music studio where your kids will gain actual studio experience and at the end get a CD of their music. Now, some shopping a visit to Toys R Us - especially the one located in Times Square - is fascinating. FAO Schwarz (767 Fifth Avenue) is also a real treat for the whole family - with their toy soldiers standing at the front door. Here I'd recommend the LEGO shop with life sized characters and environments at second floor. When it comes to great restaurants for kids Dave and Busters is a unique dining experience. Great food while at the same time offering arcade games for the kids. The sports oriented restaurant ESPN Zone at 1472 Broadway is also a recommendable place to spend the day with the family. Offering not only food but as well around nearly 100 flat screen HD TV's and two gigantic HD projector screens. If you like gaming the Nintendo World Store is another highly recommended attraction. "A gaming paradise" is their own description and I couldn't agree more. Prepare to spend a full day here. So to sum up New York with kids is not only possible will most surely be a lot of fun!
