No it's not too good to be true. Thousands of people similar to you and me make a living by playing video games. They're called video game testers.


Video game testers are paid to stay at home, or a testing office, and play video games. Yes this is a really job. Video game offices are always experimenting on a new game. It's a never ending cycle. Therefore, naturally they will need people who may test the games for them prior to releasing it. This is where the video game tester enter. Whether it's the developers, programmers, designers, the game tester should be in contact with them at all times when testing the game. They do this so that you may exchange information regarding the game currently being tested.
