Vintage Shirts: Cool Clothes For Even Cooler People
Everyone is using the term “vintage” these days, especially when it comes to t-shirts. We all know vintage t-shirts are cool t-shirts. A new wave of vintage t-shirts is popping up everywhere. Trust me when I say that I see more vintage t-shirts than most people will see in a lifetime. I see these classic t-shirts at the local shopping mall. I see vintage t-shirts show up at the movie theatre. Because I work for an e-commerce company, I see a lot of vintage t-shirts and retro t-shirts at work. I even own a few of these classic collectibles myself.
That’s right, even an old guy like me can wear vintage t-shirts and other cool t-shirts without looking like a big dork. It doesn’t matter if you’re a 15 year old girl or a 37 year old man, vintage t-shirts look good on everyone. That’s because vintage t-shirts and other classic t-shirts are simply fun to wear. Vintage t-shirts and retro t-shirts are kind of fun to look at too. They let most people know you’re friendly and have a sense of humor about what you wear. Vintage t-shirts and retro t-shirts are cool … no matter what you’re age.
Here’s a cool t-shirts example. I was in an elevator with four people; two wearing cool vintage t-shirts and retro t-shirts with classic logos. The others were wearing suits and carrying designer latte mugs. Can you guess who said “hello” first? It was the pair in the vintage t-shirts and retro t-shirts.
Need another vintage t-shirts example? A few months ago, I saw a woman with a flat tire. As I passed, a saw some guys in vintage t-shirts and retro t-shirts stop and offer to help. It was a random act of kindness from guys in cool vintage t-shirts.
As a child of the 70’s, I remember most vintage t-shirts back when they were just called t-shirts. The same cool t-shirts kids are wearing are the same t-shirts that were popular when I was a kid.
In fact, I remember all my cousins wearing t-shirts with the KISS logo. I remember my friends wearing vintage t-shirts with Charlies’s Angels and the Incredible Hulk. In the 80’s, I remember vintage t-shirts with Knight Rider and G.I. Joe. And in the 90’s, I wore vintage t-shirts from groups like INXS and Pear Jam. Years later, those vintage t-shirts are popular again.
At Dope Ass Shirts, we carry t-shirts. But not just any t-shirts, we carry vintage t-shirts, cool t-shirts and retro vintage t-shirts.
One of my favorite vintage t-shirts is BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. This 70’s sci-fi series followed a rag-tag fugitive space fleet on the journey to a new home ... called Earth.
We have several Beach Boys t-shirts in stock. These vintage shirts show the California boys in full 70’s surfer mode performing live on stage.
For nearly 40 years,Barry Manilow has delivered hits like "Copacabana", "Mandy" and "Can't Smile Without You." And we have the vintage t-shirts to prove it.
Asia is a country, a band and now, it’s one of the most popular vintage t-shirts at Dope Ass Shirts. If you were a kid in the 1980's, then you remember ASIA's hits including "Heat of the Moment" and "Don't Cry."
The Brothers Gibb a.k.a. the BeeGees, (and siblings of 70's himbo Andy Gibb) were made famous by the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. Remember "Staying Alive" and "Shadow Dancing?" This vintage t-shirts design features a great shot of the group running in their very disco jumpsuits.
