Visit Exmoor And Travel Your Own Way
Of Course there is always the Exmoor Pony to see but this is about how you travel, what about by horse rather than pony. Exmoor is a large and beautiful land with many ways of enjoying the landscape and surrounding. The best way to see the wildlife up close and personal is to get out and into the wild yourself and for those healthy active types by foot will give you the rare opportunity to lose yourself and find some real breathing space in the heart of a wild and stunning terrain. Exmoor offers many alternatives for those who might not be able to hike quite so far, a series of shorter path routes run through the park and travelling to them by car is the fastest way although the National Park Authority encourages the use of the buses as a more eco friendly method of travelling through the park. Depending on where you wish to explore there are open top buses travelling the length of the coast, circle routes including historic Dunster and even one designed for dog walkers or cyclists that can be booked in advance. There are the famous railways including the cliff railway at Lynmouth and Lynton that will give you an amazing view as well as getting you to where you want to go. There are also several sites that can cater for Horse riding and more adventurous ways of travelling. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com Debbie is a tour guide who operates in the UK.
