Vlog Tips
1. Keep it short and to the point. Not many people like waiting for videos to buffer, and because of this, it might be better to make a short video that clearly expresses what needs to be expressed. This way, the video would load faster and more people will appreciate what you have to say instead of cursing the server. A small and simple file makes things easy for both yourself and your viewers. 2. Take your audience into consideration. Unlike blogs, vlogs are for public viewing and would thus turn off people should it turn out to be too self-centered. Make sure that while your entry is personalized, it would also prove relevant to other people. 3. Be creative. This does not mean that you have to litter your video with effects – that could make your video potentially gaudy AND much too big to buffer correctly. You could simply adjust the angle, make occasional cutaways, or put interesting items in the foreground. You can talk a certain way as well – just engage people, but don’t depend on effects!
