Lately, they have announced that they are going to release Android-powered smartphones by the end of the year. Android is a Linux-based operating system developed by the Open Handset Alliance, a group lead by Web giant Google. Other phone companies that have Linux-based OS in their internals are NEC, Panasonic, and LG. Some smartphone fans are also eagerly anticipating the entry of Acer's upcoming Android phone. Acer is currently the number one laptop manufacturer, so its entry into this market should be interesting.
Now that you have open-source operating systems driving cellphone sale prices down, imagine just what the impact would be when you buy wholesale cellphones. This would definitely drive the price lower than usual enabling you to get the model that you want without having to spend much.
