Want To Be Slim And Happy? Then Get Out Of Bed Early And Get Yourself Down To The Gyms In London

Researchers from Roehampton University studied the sleeping habits of over 1,100 people and found that anxiety and depression is less likely among people who got up early. The researchers aren’t exactly sure why this is, but think that it’s possibly because you get a worse nights’ sleep if you go to bed late. They found early risers were also more likely to be slim, possibly attributed to the fact that they were more likely to eat breakfast.

So if you are someone who is likely to stay in bed until the last minute then dash out of the door in the least possible time, you could be damaging your mental health and your waistline. You may find it hard to wake up – some people’s body clocks just aren’t built to rise early – but persevere and within a few days you will find yourself naturally adjusting. If you can’t stomach breakfast first thing, grab a banana to eat en route to work. Bananas are excellent sources of energy and yet are light on the stomach. Better still – and this may seem unthinkable right now – set your alarm a good hour or so earlier than it needs to be and pay a visit to the gyms in London.

If you can make it to the gyms in London first thing, you will be doing yourself multiple favours. Not only will you be waking your body up and giving your brain a serotonin boost first thing, which means you’ll be far more able to face the day and reducing those anxiety levels, you will also be boosting your metabolism and giving it the kick it needs. Chances are, after a good workout in the gyms in London, you’ll need a decent breakfast.

Just imagine – you arrive at work refreshed, exercised and fed. Oh, and cheery. Cheery, in the morning! Could it be possible? And within a few weeks, you’ll be slimmer, too. Your colleagues won’t know what’s hit them.
