The one misgiving I had when I purchased the Waring blender MBB518 was that it would be hard wash , but the glass jar and lid rinse out very easily or pop in to the dishwasher. If you would like some significant cleaning in the blades, several drops of dishwashing liquid, water and a fast swirl take care of the hardest issue.
