Online research I have come across speaks about Scientists having been able to piece together a picture of the Earth's global climate change dating back decades to hundreds of thousands of years ago by analyzing a number of different parameters. Measures of climate such as ice, boreholes (tree rings), glacier lengths, and by studying changes in the Earth's orbit around the sun. This has allowed researchers to gain an insight into Historical Temperatures. During the last 2,000 years, the climate change has been relatively stable. Scientists have identified three departures from this stability, known as the Medieval Climate (also referred to as the Medieval Warm Period), the Little Ice Age and the Industrial Era: The Medieval Climate period occurred approximately between 900 and 1300 AD, The Little Ice Age from 1500 to 1850, and the Industrial Era which is another warm period that has emerged over the past 100 years. This the era were the endless debate over Global warming goes on and on. Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com The author is a Meteorological Technician in Cincinnati Ohio.
