Wedding Planning Secrets You Should Know
3 Amazing Tips For Small Budget Wedding Planning... 1. Ditch The New Designer Gown. There is no reason to spend thousands of dollars on your wedding day gown. And to be completely honest, there is really no reason to spend more than a few hundred dollars on the gown! Do a little searching, ask around, talk to female family members, or even think about renting the gown for the day instead of buying it outright. When you've discovered an affordable gown, merely pay a seamstress to make the much needed alterations and you'll be ready to go. 2. Do-It-Yourself Decorations. A professional decorator (or wedding consultant) will more than likely do a fantastic job on your wedding party decorations. However, why should you pay them a huge sum to do something you could just as easily do yourself? Come on, does that make any sense to you, at all? I didn't think so. All you will need is the right wedding accessories (buy in bulk) and a number of creative wedding decor ideas (you'll find more than enough online), then all you have to do is prepare and plan. It's WAY easier than you think it is, believe me. Learning how to plan a wedding on a tight budget means doing more & paying less, NOT wasting more & doing less -- don't forget it! 3. Don't Let the Flowers Devourer (Your Budget). Flowers are beautiful, yes. They create a classy & inviting environment for your guests, yes. They are tremendously expensive and can take a gargantuan size slice out of your budget, YES! Having said that, do not go nuts with the flowers. Cut flowers are already costly enough, so stick to those which are IN SEASON & have the cheapest cost possible. Arrange the flowers by yourself to yield even greater savings. There are many people that choose NOT to take the road of the "cut flowers". Instead, these folks get innovative with flowering potted plants as well as fruits bowls. Why do they do this? That's simple, because it's cheaper (by far), it's more original, and it's more often than not just as elegant to boot. Planning a wedding on a tight budget doesn't need to be a horrible experience, and don't let anybody tell you differently. You merely need a little bit of patience, a "can do" mindset, and of course, some great advice.
