We experience it every day to one degree or another and often times it can become overwhelming. Its called stress and it afflicts every living, breathing animal, including humans. Stress in itself, is an integral part of every humans natural survival mechanism that our earliest ancestors contained in them. Primitive peoples needed stress to keep him alert and ready for action when something was a threat. It meant that they could sit awake all night on alert protecting their family group when wild animals or enemies were lurking about in the dark.

A Problem to Modern Civilized People

However; in todays society stress can become a problem. The biological changes that it causes now are more harmful then good. Todays latest statistics show that up to 70% of all chronic diseases can be directly traced to high levels of stress. Also 25% of the general population will suffer from chronic sleep loss as a result of stress in their life. Add to that, the the vast majority of reported high blood pressure cases are a direct result of stress.

The Stress Test and Report

Because stress is called the silent killer people often don't comprehend the level of stress that they are under. This means that a stress test and subsequent stress test report are the only way of accurately gaging a persons actual stress level.

Seek Professional Treatment

The fact is, that stress is highly treatable but before it ca be treated a stress test report must be compiled as a tool for designing a stress treatment regimen. Walking around attempting to ignore or self diagnose stress and prescribe ones own treatment regimen is one of the most sure fire ways to land ones self on a bed in a hospital emergency room or a psych ward.
