What Features Make Your Designer Watch Authentic?

Did you get such a great deal on your new timepiece that you wonder whether or not it is genuine? It is amazing how many replicas and fakes there are on the market. Even if you buy from a, seemingly reputable dealer, you run the risk of purchasing a copy, if you don't know what to look for. So, how can you tell if you have authentic designer timepieces? Here's how:
? Know your prices. You can't really expect a $50.00 Omega to be authentic, can you? Let's use a little common sense here. When you run across a deal that is too good to be true?guess what, it probably is. You should know the normal retail prices of the watches you are interested in, so that you will have a valid comparison.
? Look at the details; when buying a designer timepiece the truth is in the detailing. If you notice shoddy workmanship, visible glue, or misspelled words?you're dealing with a fake. Designers have certain ways in which they put together their pieces. Notice where the loge generally is places and what other features are commonplace for the particular designer.
? Know who you are buying from. The chance that you will end up with a genuine watch is much greater if you work with a reputable dealer. It's easy to check out a vendor's reputation on the web. Simply look over their policies and check out any customer reviews you can locate. This should give you all the peace of mind you need.
