What Food Will I Be Served On A Plane?

When you're travelling on a long-haul flight it's important to find out what you're going to eat. Most airlines will supply this information if you call.

When travelling and booking tickets you're able to specify what sort of meal you'd like to be fed. Whether that's vegan, non-gluten, vegetarian or any specific meal that is required by your faith. But unless you're travelling first class you can never be sure that the food you get fed will be any good. By finding out what different foods and airline serves on different routes you can determine whether it might make more sense to upgrade to first class or eat at the airport from which you depart. Both options allow you to eat better food, but first you need to find out what the options are available for your journey on flights from San Francisco to Cabo San Lucas.

Calling the airlines to find out what meals they serve on each route is a good way to find out what meals you'll be served. Alternately you can check on the Internet to find out the information from other passengers or from the airline's online customer service representatives. They usually choose to emphasize what high quality food their first-class guests are served, with some even taking chefs on each flights. So you'll need to dig deep to find out if the meal you'll recieve when taking flights from Albany to Fort Lauderdale or flights from Chicago to Fort Lauderdale will be more like astronaut food than airline food. Sometimes you can't even tell the difference.

The meal that you get served will also really depend on exactly what you departure and arrival airport is. If flying within Japan for instance, you should expect very different food to when you're flying a domestic route within the U.S.
