What Is Holding You Back From Becoming The Person You Were Meant To Be

People often complain that they dont make enough money, they cant pay their bills on time, they will never get ahead in life or they are just not happy. There is always something holding them back.

If you were to go and talk to someone about your current circumstances, they would probably start with your childhood. Something from your childhood is holding you back. Sound familiar? Either your parents didnt tell you that you were good enough or they never praised you for your accomplishments or they never encouraged you to be or do whatever you wanted. Because of those reasons you have always been limited in your beliefs of becoming the person you were always meant to be.


Its not really your parents fault if you really think about it. Our parents learned from their parents who learned from their parents and lets face it, some of them lived during the depression and they didnt have a lot. If they didnt change their way of thinking sometime during their life, they only had their life experiences to pass along to their children. We look up to our parents and pretty much believe what we are taught. Its a never ending cycle and at some point we all just have to make the choice that we want or are better then what weve been told we can be.

So where do you start with trying to change the way we think about what weve always known. It starts from thinking about what you truly want. Until you change the way you think, you will never be more then what you currently are. I suggest you start with this simple exercise. If there were no limitations, money wasnt an issue, there were no restrictions, you could do whatever you wanted for free, what would your perfect life be like. What would you do every day, where would you live, what kind of business would you have, what kind of people would be in your life, etc. Write it all down on a sheet of paper in detail of what your life would be like. Its time to investigate who you are and what you really want in your life. Remember that anything is possible.

Things have been known to happen much faster when you put it down in writing. It starts by reading this every day and thinking about what you want to become. Im not saying that your life will instantly change by doing this simple exercise, but its the beginning of changing the way you think. Your thoughts become more real when you have them written down on paper. Havent you heard the saying that most successful people are dreamers? People who set goals and review them daily are more successful. They put more thought and effort into what they really want and this is how things start changing in your life. Repetition is the key. You always hear that your thoughts become your action. Well, by changing the way you think, things will start coming to you in your life. You will either meet someone who knows someone or they can introduce you to someone who can help your current circumstances. From there you may get more ideas of where you need to go next and the cycle continues. But it all starts with changing your thoughts.

Remember that you can become whoever you want to be in this life. It all starts by changing the way you think about your current circumstances. Never give up and always look for a brighter future.
