South Africa has a special place in Josh Grobans heart because it was here where he decided to start up his Josh Groban Foundation. His inspiration was a meeting with Nelson Mandela. He was so inspired by Nelson Mandela's charity work that he set up his own foundation that his fans and loyal Grobanites have raised more than 1 million dollars for.

Musical instruments? Josh Groban actually has two favorite instruments. These are the piano and the drums. The Piano represents his classical side and the drums represent the pop side of his career.

Hobby. Josh Groban loves to write poetry as well as lyrics for his songs. He has a creative and spiritual side to him which is not only portrayed through his music but through his poetry too.

TV show. Josh Groban has actually appeared in his favorite TV show which is the Simpsons. The Simpsons creator Matt Groening wrote a whole episode that featured Josh Groban. He did the voice over and was very excited when he watched himself in his favorite TV show.

Animals. Josh Grobans favorite animals are dogs. He has several pet dogs at home and loves nothing more than taking them for long walks whenever he is home. He hates leaving them when he is on tour or in another country but does however feel it would be far worse to take them with him everywhere like pampered pooches!
