Most of these cranes have a 270 degree slew and simple stops can also be added to provide other angles for the slew. Most of the cranes are painted in a colour called Trafalgar blue, though specific colours are also catered for. Electric hoists can also be fitted to the cranes, as well as isolator switches. This allows ease of use for the cranes and allows users to use them with the upmost ease. The electric hoist is very useful and when coupled with the isolator switch is a safe, secure and excellent option. Over braced jibs are also common and have a lifting capacity of up to 2000Kg. They can be fitted with a wide range of accessories ad can also be manually rotated, though can also be fitted with an electronically motorised arm. This allows ease of use and is a terrific advantage to those who require such cranes in their shop. Jib cranes are essentially simple machines and some of the oldest cranes in existence.
