What’s The Best Way To Get Up In The Search Engines When Your Articles Don’t Seem To Be Working?
Sometimes it can be so frustrating trying to get the search engines to find your site even after you’ve submitted articles to different article sites, so what is the answer? Are press releases more important?
Well, with articles, they are going to be a little frustrating at the beginning just because articles are a 30-90 day deal. They’ve got to pick up momentum. Articles are a great strategy to get momentum going. I mean, six months, a year from now, you’re going to be like, “Wow, I’m so glad I decided to do those articles,” even though at this time you’re not. Posting articles on various article sites is a great way to make sure that you have links back to your site, whatever site that you’re talking about.
So what’s the best way to get up in the search engines? Articles can help you in that way, but the best way to get up in the search engines is having links back to your sites. For example, if we’re running for President of the United States, how does the President of the United States win? Well, he’s got to get votes, right? But he doesn’t just have to get votes; he’s also got to get the Electoral College on his side. So that’s exactly what we’re looking for to get high up in the search engines. We’re not only looking for votes but we’re looking for the Electoral College. You might be saying, “Well, what are you talking about?” What I’m talking about is a link pointing to your site is like a vote.
So, what you want to do is you want to get more links pointing to your site and you’re going to get more votes. But remember, we still have that Electoral College, so how do we get our Electoral College online? Well, the answer to that is finding pages or sites that have high page ranks.
So, you need to go to Google.com, type in “toolbar,” download the Google toolbar and place it on your computer. The toolbar should display the “page rank” in the middle. If it does not have it, then there’s an options button on there where you can add the page rank to it. This page rank option is going to tell you how each page that you land on ranks. Every single page you go to is going to have it.
Now, why is that important? Well, Google measures the importance of a website, so basically the higher the number is, the more important that site is. Their Page Rank aka PR. Therefore, the more important that link is, the more important that vote is. So what you want to do is get these votes from high page ranking sites and have those links pointing back to your site.
Other ways to get a higher ranking is to do press releases using something like PRWeb Direct or you can buy links on eBay, LinkAdage.com, etc. On eBay, you just search for page rank and you can find links with high page ranks. You can also use directories. There are tons of them out there.
There are several different things you can do, but really what you’re looking for is links.
