If you're not familiar with the tradition behind friendship bracelets it is basically that somebody will make a bracelet for a friend and this friend will wear this until it falls off their wrist. It is basically said that but because the person who made the bracelet put work and love into creating it that the friend is honoring her work were wearing it until it breaks. It also said that if you remove this bracelet before it breaks that this is a sign of a friendship that is no longer.

There are also some other traditions that the recipient will make you wish when they received a bracelet and his wish will come true when it falls off.
