When Someone Has Broken Your Heart – The Key To Getting Him Back Is Baby Steps

When someone has broken your heart and broken up with you, the key to getting him back is to go slow. It's kind of like approaching wildlife…any quick moves will scare them away. So you've got to move slow…baby steps.

1. Patience is a virtue here. Go slow. Pretend that you don't know him, but are interested. A simple look, maintaining eye contact longer than what would be considered normal. But don't let it go any further than this. Remember…baby steps!

2. After a time practicing baby Step 1, you can slowly move to a short conversation with him. Keep the conversation brief and basic…nothing heavy here. A simple touch of the arm while you're talking will probably take his mind off what you're saying, so forgive him if later he doesn't remember what you said. . Keep it cordial, and did I say to keep it short.

3. Sometimes we get so involved in the process of getting him back that we forget the basic stuff. Whenever you are out in public make sure you look good, and smell good too. If you are close enough to have a conversation with you, then he is close enough to smell his favorite perfume, which will take his mind back to the good ole days faster than anything. If you can see that his mind is wondering, leave him wonder.

4. As time goes on you can lengthen your conversations with him, and shoot him a compliment here and there. You can bring up some of the good times you had together, and share a laugh now and then.

5. Always remember slow and easy…baby steps. Never push it; never rush it; never force it. Just baby steps.
