Where Is The Fairness In Life?

I will attempt to point to where the fairness lies in this life, on this earth. First we have to expand how we see life and how we see the world. This means that we have to stretch our thinking past some of the limited ways we have been taught to think.

For instance, most of us were taught that there is only one lifetime, and the deeds that are done then cast the mold for ever lasting life. This of course holds true for the person who passes away at 101 years of age, or even 2 minutes old.

Most of us were also told that while alive on this earth that we have to follow the teachings of some person who is the enlightened one, and that if we do not, then we would be cast into the depths of hell.

While all of this is going on, we look around and see some people doing horrific things, experiencing horrific problems while others seem to have been blessed from birth. We look for logical understanding to justify what seems to be a chaotic world of random events. Religion will tell us that the lord simply works in mysterious ways.

The problem with finding this understanding lies in the question its self. We are looking for the justice and fairness of life, in the span of one lifetime however long that may be. This is but one piece of a much larger puzzle with many pieces that we have been steered away from seeing. Our common sense will push against what we have been taught, and we seek to follow that guidance only to be put back into place by those who say it is not for us to understand.

We can not find the fairness in life by looking at one piece of the puzzle. The puzzle is in fact much larger, much more beautiful than we had imagined, with many perfectly fitting pieces that when placed together gives us a glimpse of this wonderful world that we live in. Trying to find this knowledge looking at the one individual piece is of course impossible.

We live here now, in this your body on this physical earth. We know that every organ in the body can be replaced except for the brain, and this tells us that our soul does not live in any of these organs. Does it live in the brain? Well there are countless life forms on earth such as jellyfish that move in complex ways even having eyes and being able to process all that information without a brain. The soul does not live in any organ of the body, but is separate, connected but separate.

The fact that we are here now, is evidence that we could have been here before just as easily; Certainly it would have been a different physical body, in the same way that we change automobiles about every 5 years. Its just common sense that if we are here now, then it is absolutely possible we can be here again.

When this extra piece of the puzzle is in place the world becomes so much more vast, the answers to millions of questions immediately answered. Living on earth, being a journey of lifetime to lifetime with breaks in-between. This extra dimension to life allows each person to experience this earth, the experiences of earth in a much more realistic and common sense way. How could one lifetime, some only lasting for minutes give a soul the experience that earth has to offer? There are experiences of being wealthy, poor, powerful, weak, happy, sad, compassionate, cruel. And what of love, how long does it take one to really embrace that emotion as the spiritual sages of the past have taught us? How many people actually die with an unconditional love for all beings?

This path of lifetime to lifetime empowers all humans to reach their potential by experiencing all facets of life, that are simply impossible to do in one earthly lifetime. This continuous path of life explains so much of how each person is born with their own preferences of life, of people with their own particular talents and faults.

This progressive path of experience allows us to grow, to eventually bloom into the most that we can be. Living multiple lives allows each person to experience all areas of life, and human kind, learning as we go. When we look at this bigger picture we can see now how the fairness of life manifests. It is a continuum, from one life to the next.

Some people will only consider truth from a source they were told that contains all the truth. Perhaps a text book, or scroll. The problem with doing this is that your view of life will be limited to only what resides in that book. There was no book on earth written that contained all the information of the world that we now know, from astronomy to genetics to quantum physics, or the infinite information that is still there for us to grasp. More importantly, denying our own common sense, the one tool we were born with to separate the wheat from the chaff will completely limit our ability to find truth. Truth resides here, truth resides there, and truth can be found anywhere in anything. Common sense can piece the grand puzzle together if only given a chance.

To find the fairness in life, without question you must expand your view of life. You must use that feeling deep in your stomach that says “ah ha” that makes sense. Life is so much more rewarding to experience when one begins to understand that we were taught to think in limited ways. When this is acknowledged, the whole world opens up filling you with the excitement and wonder of a child.
