Which Blackberry Is Best?
If you are going to be using your handset mainly for internet use then the BlackBerry Curve should meet all of your needs. The Curve models come with QWERTY keypads for maximum ease of use when typing up emails, and its large screen makes it easy to read through your email account and to browse online. If you need a smartphone for business use, the BlackBerry 8800 is ideal. This model comes with a longer battery life than most, 22 days on standby, meaning you will never miss any important calls. The 8800 can also be used as a SatNav in your car or in your pocket as it also comes equipped with GPS. If you are a business user with Wi-Fi needs then you could opt for the new and improved BlackBerry 8820. This is an updated version of the 8800, featuring Wi-Fi for faster internet access anywhere, and stereo Bluetooth too. The BlackBerry Pearl model has all of the standard BlackBerry features, but the handset design is as close as you will find to a standard mobile handset layout, making it the best model for the first time BlackBerry user. The SureType keypad makes it easier for first timers to operate too, as it is closer to the standard keypad layout than the more usual BlackBerry QWERTY keypad. Although BlackBerry model sizes have reduced over the years, some phone users still find the design too bulky. BlackBerry have taken note and launched their BlackBerry Pearl Flip handset. Using a clam shell design, this model can fold up into a smaller size making for easier portability, but still features everything you will find on a standard BlackBerry Pearl. For those of you who need a phone for multimedia purposes the large high resolution screen found on the BlackBerry Bold makes it ideal for viewing images and videos. It is also fully 3G compatible giving 3.6Mbps download speeds. It also comes with WordToGo allowing you to edit your work at the touch of a button, and is fully compatible with iTunes. Touch screen handsets are all the rage at the moment, and so BlackBerry have launched the BlackBerry Storm. Its high resolution touchscreen, 3G support, 3MP camera and GPS means that it has everything the user wants from a modern smartphone, but sadly, no Wi-Fi capabilities as yet.
