The rivers descended vary in hardship with all grades of rapid being run. The rivers are graded on a scale of 1-6, with 1 being the gentlest and 6 being the most difficult.
No previous experience is needed to enjoy this exhilarating activity. A qualified guide on each raft will teach the rafters the basic skills and guide you safely down the river. Your instructor will teach you how to control the raft on still water before you are really on the river down the course. The ride is along a set course and all necessary equipment such as helmets and life jackets will be provided. Wet suits can be hired on the day or you can bring your own. Wear an old pair of trainers that you won’t mind getting wet.

Whitewater rafting is available all days of the week although it is seasonal. A minimum group size of eight members is required.
