Whitehaven Beach is one of the most beautiful places which are been located at Queensland in Australia. It is the most popular beach which is a tourist attraction. The stretch of this beach is around 6 km. it is been preserved in the Whitsunday island with natural beauty. To reach this place there are many cruises which will take you down here from ports of Hamilton Island, Shute Harbor and Airlie beach. Whitehaven Beach is been the most beautiful and unspoiled nature beach. In the year 2008 it has been awarded as the cleanest beach which keeps Australia beautiful. Recently in the year 2010 it was been named as one of the top eco friendly beach among other beaches in the world. Since it is the cleanest and eco friendly pets like dogs and smoking cigarettes are been prohibited because it spoils the beach. The most attractive thing of Whitehaven Beach is the white sand which is 98% pure silica. This white color is so bright in color that gives a different look this place. It is the oldest beach to be found in the year 1897 by Commander EP Bedwell.

It is the most beautiful place where you can spend a peaceful vacation with family, friends and loved ones. It is not an adventurous place where you can participate in many activities but the water here is silent and clam. So one can either stroll on the beach or can swim in the crystal clear blue water. In Whitehaven Beach the most famous hill is the Inlet which gives a breathtaking view stand at the edge of it. One can hike or climb on the hill and see one of the wonder of the world. On the hill you can find many beautiful birds chirping from one tree to other. It is a perfect destination if you are planning for a one day trip. Every year the most famous events to be held are the race of swimming, sailing and lot more which is a part of the Hamilton Island Triathlon Event. Many of them participate in this race and have fun but watching this race is also a great experience. To get down in Whitehaven Beach there are many transports available from the ports where you can come down from ferry, yacht, sailing boat, cruise and lot more. Definitely it will be the most memorable vacation you have ever experienced in life.
