Two other expenses you should calculate are paper and routine maintenance. Yes, there are lots of drawbacks to buying a wide printer when you consider that a print shop could easily do the same job. You can find a printing shop that is capable of wide printing in most towns. However, buying a wide printer does give you more control and perhaps more reliability when it comes to time.

Getting work done off sit by another company may cause delays which isn't good if you have clients that expect jobs done quickly. Sometimes to make it as a business, you have to spend money and out-do other companies in terms of speed and quality to survive in this market.
