The reason why they fail with free traffic is either because they don't know how to get it, which is a whole science in its self. Or they get wrong kinds of traffic.
To be successful in affiliate marketing, one has to get down two things right, traffic and offer. Both are the skills to learn and require time and dedication. No-one was born knowing it all and as in everything in this world, you have to learn to do it. Unfortunately, most people fail to realize that fact and quit when they don't see the results immediately, without learning first.
