Why Aren't You Using A Shower Head Water Filter?

You might disagree, but hear me out on this...filtering your shower water is just as important as filtering your drinking water. You might ask, how could this be so important? All I need is water and soap to make my body clean. So you think.

A shower head water filter is something that you should consider in promoting good health for your family.

Many of my previous articles talk about chlorine in our water. Simply put, it just isn't good for us to ingest. Filtering our drinking water is a great first step. But incidentally, chlorine can enter our bodies during a regular shower. If we don't use shower head water filters, chlorine can be vaporized and enter our bodies as we inhale chlorine gas. It can also be absorbed through the skin.

The physical properties of chlorine do not allow it to exist freely in nature. It is found only in combination with other chemicals, primarily sodium chloride, from which it is electrolytically extracted for commercial use.

Shower head water filters can eliminate most of this undesirable chemical.

Liquid chlorine is a clear amber fluid with a density approximately 1.5 times that of water. Under atmospheric temperature and pressure it evaporates readily, one pound forming about five cubic feet of a highly irritating greenish gas. Are you starting to see the importance of shower head water filters?

I don't know about you, but this chlorine is bad stuff. It isn't even found naturally in our environment. I needs to be artificially produced.

Also when I was reading about chlorine, it stated that at elevated temperatures, mixed with water, it is highly corrosive to most metals. I'm sure that you can guess that chlorine is having adverse affects on every inch of your plumbing, including those faucets and fixtures that you have paid good money for.
The best shower filters don't cost as much as some of those fancy faucets.

Some of our water supplies have as much chlorine in them as the common swimming pool. Do you remember how your skin and hair felt after a weekend in the pool? It strips our skin and hair of its' natural oils, leaving it dry, itchy and flakey.

This information alone is enough for most smart people, like yourself to consider using a shower head water filter. But what are the best shower filters to buy?

First of all, we need to get rid of the chlorine. The best shower filters that I have found for the money are those that offer dual stage filtration.

The first stage reduces chlorine and enhances PH balance, using a natural copper/zinc media.
The second stage uses and carbon type filter to remove other chemicals and VOCs.

Users of shower head water filters will notice softer skin and better feeling hair.
Asthma and allergy sufferers benefit and find relief from some of their symptoms, due to the decrease in chlorine gas released into the air during a shower.

In conclusion, if you concerned about your familys' health, the installation of a shower head water filter may be one of the best things that you can do for them.
