Why Christian Singles Dating Online Should Seek Marriage

Plenty of things are assumed and understood about marriage, with more than just a a small number of inaccuracies and occasionally self-fulfilling prophecies abound.

The secular world has taken the holiness of marriage and twisted it into a funfair for the immoral and unscrupulous minority to gratify every lustful craving and sinful part of their make-up with no evident worry of recriminations.

Christian Singles have a responsibility to rise beyond this and project the way of behaving and devotion towards marriage that was Gods desire before sin made itself known in the world we live in.

The Lord states his intentions in the book of Genesis when he placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. He did not want for man to be alone, so the once lonely male was unified a short time later by the female. So God laid the foundation for all that has followed since, what Adam and Eve did later when they ate the apple off the tree of good and evil caused the fall-out which resulted in sinationsed, but that's going slightly off topic.

The majority of, if not all Christian Singles are under pressure to abide by the example God established at the very start and that pressure is growing, exponentially, in the world as we know it these days.

At the end of the day, Christian Singles are human beings when all said and done, becoming a Christian is a decision you make later on in life and a statement of intent to your friends and the outside world that you are committed to Christ and will live by the ways of your heavenly father.

Nonetheless, the Lord doesn't mention anywhere in his book that being a Christian, single or otherwise, was ever going to be a cruise, the dilemmas confronted by humanity are abnormally difficult at times and Single Christian people have to face those same dilemmas and quite often with added intensity, which comes into effect when peer sometimes cajoles you to follow the crowd and forego your Godly principals.

It's essential for Christian Singles attempting to seek a partner either online or offline, to sustain their beliefs during the whole process, from the initial point of contact in their relationship and into the future.

The secular world might well go after casual relationships on the internet or elsewhere and not give two hoots about the moral and ethical implications of one night stands, illegitimate children and the rest, but as a Single Christian, you can't afford to think the same way, much less actually do it.

As I alluded to earlier, as a Christian it is your duty to portray a way of living and conducting yourself which is in keeping with the values, standards and image ste for you by God. That way is to seek a partner online with the sincere objective that you will one day make an honest person of your partner.

Clearly, in any relationship, there are going to be imperfections, differences and struggles. Marriage ceremonies always include the line 'for better or worse', so as with anything in life that is worthwhile, it requires work, perserverance and an ability to ride the rough waves, but before you reach that stage you and your partner have the courtship to negotiate.

From the get-go, your intentions need to reflect what it means for you to be a Christian Single, so your responsibilities are in some ways greater than someone who has no beliefs to maintain.

It's imperative that you honour those intentions and responsibilites, which will be noticeable by those around you and they will see that you are different and likely have more respect for you in the process. If you can do that, then you haven't let yourself down or more importantly, the Almighty down either.
