Why Dish Network Is The Best Fit For You

30 million customers can’t be wrong. As an entertainment provider, Dish strives to offer their customers the industry’s best technology at a reasonable, affordable price. Why does Dish Network cost less than DIRECTV or cable? Well let’s examine some of the pros of DISH and weigh them against the other companies. One way Dish manages to keep their costs down is by designing and building their own receivers.

These receivers, such as the DISH DVR or the DISH HD DVR, have won awards within the industry for their quality, such as CNET’s Editor’s Choice Award and PC Magazine Editor’s Choice for Best DVR. In order to gain the lowest possible fees to carry specific channels, DISH negotiates with programmers so they pay less, which translates to their customers paying less. As a Dish Network customer myself, I can attest to these reasonable prices.

In our home we have two receivers set up, one of them being the DVR, and we have the Classic Silver 200 package. This is one of Dish’s most popular packages. It includes over 220 channels of the best entertainment available such as Bravo, Animal Planet, Lifetime, MTV, VH1, TBS, USA, Food Network, HGTV and many more. We pay just a little $60 a month for this package and DVR service. As far as I’m concerned, that is extremely reasonable. I get all the channels I regularly watch and seeing as though I’m not a huge TV watcher, this is just right for me.

The only thing I would add is the movie channels because sometimes I find myself with nothing to watch and wish I had a little more selection as far as movies go.Speaking of not being a huge TV watcher, it is helpful that I have different package options so I can be fit with the one that best suits my TV viewing needs. When you call DISH, you will be matched with the programming and equipment to fit your needs. After the system is installed, the technician teaches you how to use it.

All the techs we have had out to our house over the years have been very helpful and knowledgeable. And I suppose they would have to be, considering DISH Network gets the lowest number of consumer complaints in the industry according to the latest American Customer Satisfaction Index.High definition is quickly becoming one of the best technologies out there. Luckily for their customers, DISH Network has the best, most advanced HD DVR receiver. They offer the largest hard drives in the business and their 1080p HD technology provides the best picture available anywhere.

Their DISH Remote Access is the industry’s most comprehensive remote DVR manager, letting you set timers and delete or save your DVR recordings from a computer or your iPhoneTM. They also offer remote frequency (RF) remotes as an alternative to infrared remotes, meaning you can change the channel from the other room through a wall if you choose to!Dish offers the most international channels of any other provider, ranging from African and Arabic to Israeli, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Spanish, and Ukrainian. They also offer thousands of video-on-demand options for those customers who are always on the lookout for more viewing options.

DIRECTV makes it a point to boast that t hey are the only provider to offer the NFL Sunday Ticket, and people wonder why DISH has not followed suit and started offering it. After all, you would think they would want to match up to their biggest competitor. Well, the answer is simple – it costs DIRECTV $700 million a year to carry the NFL Sunday Ticket. The less money Dish Network spends on programming, the more they can afford to offer their packages at reasonable prices to their customers.

The average DIRECTV package costs 13% more than the average Dish Network package. Plus, despite not offering the NFL Ticket, DISH still maintains a huge selection of sports, from national baseball football, and hockey to International soccer and cricket. So what are you waiting for? Dish Network could be just the fit you’re looking for!
