Why E-mail Marketing Is Still Needed?

We are all aware of social media and how amazing it is. Many people are into it nowadays and even small business and large corporations are taking advantage of the phenomenon. Still, we know that in order to run these social media profiles that we have, we need a legitimate e-mail account. Every transaction you do online, it always asks you for an e-mail address. So the dilemma that we are facing right now is: do you still e-mail is phasing out in the marketing scheme? Definitely not!

E-mail marketing is still one of the best, effective channels out there. When you want to read certain information about a particular product or services, reading an e-mail helps. People may complain about the lengthiness of the message, however, what we’re after here is the content. An e-mail is certainly a way to get an extensive and comprehensive content; and you can even forward the same information to someone you know, or might even share it using your social media profiles. Now that’s really helpful, right?

Another thing why e-mail is important is because ninety-nine percent of the people going online will always check their e-mails every day, especially the business people. They communicate entirely with their clients through proper online channels, and e-mail is the way to go. It’s private and very formal. You cannot just launch a conversation with your clients through Facebook wall posts or even in Twitter because everybody else will be reading them. Also, you cannot communicate entirely with only a 160-character words or less, right?

According to Chris Brogan, president of New Marketing Labs, he mentioned that ninety-three percent of people are actually getting their product information from the companies through e-mails, and only 15% are from Facebook and 4% from Twitter. With this data alone, it just shows that e-mail marketing is still the strongest media that you can get in terms of receiving company product updates and more.

E-mail marketing will stick around for a long time. As long as e-mail marketers know how to leverage their customers with e-mail at the right time, for sure, their customers will be very happy to know that the companies are reaching out to them, even in the most formal way.
