Why Eckhart Tolle Is So Successful Relaying His Message!
The only reason why Eckhart Tolle is on top of his game is nothing, but simplicity of the way he conveys his messages. He rarely uses any difficult terms and sometimes even corrects himself, by replacing some term like "awareness" with "noticing".
Just as anyone would expect from the ego, it always tries to use "upscale" language to differentiate itself from the crowd, with the only goal in mind - to impress people who are listening to it. Don't ask me how I know :-) I've done it myself. Literally, daily, I used to learn word of the day on dictionary dot com and I would attempt to use those words in my everyday language.I tell ya, it felt good when people didn't know what I was talking about :-)
So, if being not understood is your goal, then fancy words is a way to go, but by doing that, realize, that your listeners circle will shrink. Which is quite anti-marketing. and know, it will not put you on the scale like Tolle is.
So it is with other spiritual teachers. They basically speak about the same thing and yet they manage to come up with these special terms or mental concepts to label steps of awakening. In my opinion creating even more confusion with people who are trying to "get it". It seems futile.
On the other hand I can understand them, because seriously after reading or listening to Eckharts materials, there is not much you can really add to it. Especially the way he puts it. so in order to differentiate themselves, other spiritual teachers must come up with something of their own, otherwise they would be simply re-telling Eckhart Tolle's message. Which in their eyes does not seem genuine. Egotrip? someone please tell me I am wrong :-)
Simplicity, eloquence and myriad examples of life situations that help you awaken, have granted Tolle a throne in the spiritual world. I would say he might be another messiah.
