Why Good Designs Matter!
If you have a friend who knows a thing or two about the Internet then ask him/her a simple question: why do all websites out there hardly make it to the top? The answer you get will have a lot to do with the way the site is designed. There are two points that the best website designers never lose track of: 1. Simplicity: Any web designer who has helped clients with creating a really good site will tell you that an Internet user is not looking to complicate things. The main reason why people use the World Wide Web in the first place is to find answers to their innumerable queries. This means your website has to be in tune with what the user needs. Highly intricate pages that are puzzling to handle will be ignored for something that is easier to browse through. For example, if the 'About Us' page of a site is tucked away in some corner that is hardly visible then it won't be serving its purpose. Therefore, it makes sense to keep your site simple and user-friendly. 2. Attractiveness: A site that is pleasant to look at will always be checked out for a longer period of time than one which doesn't look good. If the 'Home Page' is aesthetically appealing then it is a natural human instinct to check out the other pages and see what it has to offer. This is where the technical task of designing a website becomes an art. Only an individual who knows that the appearance of a site does matter a lot will be able to give you first class service. He/she will design something that not only serves the purpose but is also great to look at. If you notice these two qualities in the past work of an independent designer or company then you have surely stumbled upon the right choice. A site that combines simplicity with attractiveness is bound to be noticed by Internet users all over the world. Website designing should be left up to the experts in the field and not in the hands of any amateur. They know how to customize a site according to the tastes of their clients. If you can't seem to settle on the right designers there is nothing much to worry about. Keep a lookout for ones that don't boast about their achievements but let their work speak for itself.
