Why I Like The Kobo E-reader

Nowadays, there are a lot of people who are looking for an e-reader that they can buy. This is because there are so many different e-reader brands that have now become available. In just a couple of years, people have become acquainted with the different types of e-reader devices. Whether they plan to use it personally or give it as a gift, these devices have turned into a wise investment especially to those who are fans of reading books. One of the top devices which are recommended is the Kobo.

Early in 2010, the world got introduced to a new era of e-readers. Manufactured by Borders, the digital reader has paved way to the millions of book fanatics who are now into the trend of bringing lots of books along with them. But instead of putting burden on themselves, they have been able to use these readers and just install numerous e-books into them. By doing so, they get to save their time and money on carrying books that they want to read.

If you have never heard about this particular e-reader, you’re in for a real treat. One fascinating fact about the Kobo is that it does not have a literal translation. It is simply the word ‘book’ which has been rearranged to form a new word. Despite the fact that it is a book reader, it still contains lots of other features such as Bluetooth connectivity and a standard USB port. With these features, you are able to install different files into your device.

Aside from its features, the Kobo is known as the lightest e-reader that is currently available. To add to this, it only has a measurement of only an inch. What really attracted me to this e-reader is the fact that it has a built-in quilted back. This quilted feature was either made using molded plastic or a soft pleather material.

I also like this e-reader because it has 1 gig memory. This means I can put in all my favorite books and it still will have enough memory for me to put it more files to it. I think this is perfect especially because I read a book really fast.

Lastly, I like the Kobo because it has a long battery life. I tried reading a book once and the battery lasted me up to 2 weeks. I did not have to charge it because it still had battery. I think this is perfect for those who are just like me, book fans who do not have to worry about bringing loads of books on a daily basis. With this e-reader device, I feel like I have my own virtual library with me anywhere I go. I never run out of books to read!
